Man, bravo. Excellent work.

Works beautifully. The bar-code function - which obligates you take a photo of any product bar-code you choose in order to turn the alarm off (and forcing you to actually wake up) - was a HUGE improvement, and very ingenious solution. I chose some product at the kitchen, so when the alarm sounds I must walk to the kitchen and point the cell camera to the same product until it recognizes it. Congrats. [UPDATE for v3.0] The bar-code function is presenting major issues, and isnt recognizing (or is taking waaaay too long) the same code it used to recognize before. Please fix it urgently! Ill put the five stars back after that. ;) --> And a kind request: please include an option to just take the picture without using any brain game. For me thats enough to wake me up, maybe for some users itll be also. Thanks!

I had Problems to wake up suddenly. With this annoying clock, its so easy!!!

I wish more settings. The ipod music is only running during the solving of the math tasks. But you cant choose ipod music for the first real alarm tone. There is no setting for "quiet solving of math tasks". I think its better when first comes music, you start solving the task (between solving is music quiet), correct solving alarm is off, incorrect solving alarm again. The statistics are ok, but I dont need real. The idea is the best!

I loved this app. But actually it crashes quite often while the alarmsound is changing.. Really annoying! :(

Its great but not like "alarmdroid" so i cant switch off the options i dont will take, and my englich is not so good so i hope you made the german language :)

You should hear your Music while the alert Rings and Not only while solving the tasks! The Rest is nice! Thanks

Well, I havent had an alarm clock that was that reliable for a long time. Im using it for more then a year now and it hasnt failed up to now. The new 2.0 uprade is great! Other apps let you pay twice for a similiar feature upgrade. Highly recommended, best alarm clock in the app store (tried quiet a few).

This App is freaking awesome. Only the photo matching is too easy: It just needs roughly the same light and colour structure. Is this possible to improve, guys?! Cheers.

The new app is definitely not an improvement! The design is awful and new features if at all are just as bad!

Great App, I wouldnt know how I should get out of Bed early without it! Works like a Charm!

Since update to iOS 10 with iphone 6S alarm is on also at the weekend even if its disabled! Why? Needed to deinstall to cancel alarm! Update on this: Wrote mail and got response within a few hours and solved problem 1) delete the app 2) restart your device 3) re-download the app from App Store 4) open the app and go to FreakyAlarm Settings > Reset > Reschedule Alarms

The newer versions are definite improvements over 1.0. Im one of those ppl who has auto muscle control of shutting alarms in the morning so its nice to see someone coming up with such a nice solution. The only thing I can think of as an improvement is a snooze function.I usually set my alarm 10min earlier than I need so I can lie in bed but sometimes I fall asleep. Maybe a setting for "latest time to get up" and allow snooze before that time but not after. All in all this is one of the best 99c Ive spent lol

Below is the review I wrote a while ago and it still stands for version 1.4. This is an amazing app, in principle, but I still can’t use it. Machine guns, crazy bees, screaming and other freaky noises are guaranteed to wake you up and get your attention. However, these not-so-subtle noises wake up young children too, and too early. If I could custom set my alarms to use ONLY basic system sounds but require say 10 math problems to shut off, it would have the same wake-up affect on me without scaring the kids and irritating my wife. ----------- I really love the idea of this application — LOVE it — but one thing keeps me from being able to use it daily: I really wish I could choose which alarms would sound, and that those alarm options included some less in-your-face alternatives. While I can appreciate how effective random crazy alarm sounds can be, I’m the only one in my household who has to wake up early so, the current settings are too aggressive for me to be able to use on a regular basis. Also, there are a couple of things that would make this application brilliant for me. First, I’d love to see a volume slider right in the app since it can be a pain trying to control ringer vs iPod volumes. Second, I wish it were harder to turn the alarm off the for the day. The option to require solving multiple equations would be fantastic. Thanks for the app. Though I can’t use it everyday right now, it does work REALLY well for the days I need it.

I really like this app, its really helpful! Except when it freezes and shuts down on me. Usually when I have it set to "hard" mode, on the 4th puzzle the whole app will close and I have to start all over again. Sometimes this happens 3 or 4 times in a row, and in the end I get so angry that I delete the app, because its the only way I can see to stop the insanity. I usually re-download it later on during the day, but it would be really nice if you guys could fix the bug that makes it close down on me.

Dont let the name fool you, this app is definitely the most effective tool in your arsenal. If you are like me and constantly and unknowingly hit Snooze on your alarm every morning and end up sleeping in, OMG your problems are solved. I was worried about sleeping through my alarm this morning because of a super late night, but this apps requirements of having me get out of bed to take pictures of stuff around my house, scan stuff with my phone, and complete a series of arithmetic and logical questions, definitely woke me up and made me alert so that I just didnt turn around afterwards and fall back asleep. The increasingly annoying sounds as you go through the questions and inevitably make mistakes definitely get your morning adrenaline going! GREAT app! I will use this every day!

Love the idea of this alarm. But Ive had multiple equations that could not be solved! I was given 4 numbers from which to chose from as an answer to a math question. None of them were possible answers!!! Once this glitch is fixed, it will be a great app.

I was looking for an app that does this exactly (questions + force you to scan something around the house) and Im really glad that Ive found it! Ill be able to wake up in time again!
