its not worth it at all. the notification doesnt work most of the time and even when I am awake Im too lazy to do those math problems in my head. I hate it and it was a waste of my money.

I used to like this alarm, but the current version is useless. The alarm goes to notifications instead of actually going off, which means I dont wake up on time when I use it. The alarm doesnt sound until Ive selected the notification and opened the app, and then the sounds wont stop until Ive done the math problems. Theres nothing more infuriating than doing complex arithmetic for a nonfunctional alarm clock when youve just realized youre late to work.

Ive had this app for awhile now and it has really turned my impossible to get up early self into an early riser. But only because this app makes me!! The update couldnt be more perfect. Great work on the redesign and development of the added features. The speech alarm was the missing piece of the puzzle. I absolutely love it

I have no idea why this app isnt more popular. Ive been using it for a really long time, and the new update is really nice! Good work :)

This really helps. But often I wake up delete the app and fall back to sleep, but i guess thats my fault. This is a great app.

This app rules. By the time it has stopped making noise, My brain is working well enough to realize I shouldnt go back to bed. The text-to-speech is also fun, primarily for entertaining my half-asleep girlfriend with customized messages while I am struggling with the logic problems. I would love it if the developer added a quick voice record that would play instead - seems a little better than text-to-speech. But I love this thing. I have recommended it to all my friends.

Brilliant concept that I love. The issue is that I can just turn the volume down on the phone all the way and go back to sleep.

Just like all of the other reviewers state, I am NOT a morning person. This is the first alarm that has ever worked for me to really wake me when I intended to get up. I have been able to fit a workout in before work. Well worth the reasonable price.

I have been using this alarm for quite some time but have decided to go back to Sleep Cycle. I have emailed the developer and tried their suggestions but the screen still stays on the whole night. Its unfortunate because the alarm works well. For those saying you can just turn down the volume, there is a setting to lock the volume to prevent that. The puzzles are just hard enough to wake up your brain and the barcode scanner option forces you out of bed.

I have a very hard time waking up in the morning, regardless of how long I have slept. The combination of this app, along with the 5 regular alarms I set in my phone, and a regular alarm clock (yes, I know it is ridiculous) are the only reason I make it to work on time. My only concern with this app is the gunshot sound, which I could see causing issues for some.

There needs to be a warning in the description of this app. I just saw another reviewer mentioned this, but our reviews are insufficient notification for people. While some will have no issue being awoken to gunshots, it is completely inappropriate for many consumers. This app could have been great, but misses the mark in their choice of sounds.

We have tried everything in the past. Most was two iPad alarms two desk clock alarms, and both of our phone alarms.50% of the times we didnt wake up! We could npg wake up normally ... Just eventually get up and watch him rush to get ready for work. He downloaded it first and after a full week of us both getting up on time, we decided that I should also downloaded this alarm in case he has problems with his phone. TAKE IT FROM A 29 & 32 COUPLE THAT RECENTLY STARTED FYI SMELL VERY HEAVY HEAVY SLEEPERS. THIS WILL NOT DISAPPOINT YOU!!! :-) WORTH EVERY PENNY!!

New iOS update has broken the alarm, I cant even turn it off now.

As far as I can tell, with the new update you have to turn your alarms off and on again or they wont sound. I just overslept by an hour and a half.

This app may work fine, but I will never know because I had to uninstall it in the middle of the night when it caused my phone to start vibrating constantly. So now I am sleep deprived and $2 poorer. Dont waste your money on this app.

This app used to work great, I was telling all my friends about it and how I never missed waking up for anything anymore. Now, when I set an alarm it will randomly go off continuously at the incorrect time. Incredibly disappointed. At this point, the app is unusable. Please fix!

I am a sincerely heavy sleeper and this app did get me awake. The only thing i dont like is there is no snooze options. If there were an option to solve less problems top snooze and more to turn it off i would give it five stars.

I used this app for about three weeks before it started getting buggy. It worked to wake me up, but one day it took me twenty minutes to turn it off because it would crash and start over. I ran out of patience this morning and uninstalled it.

This app is a complete waste of money. You silence it easily by turning your phone to silent/vibrate, making it completely ineffective. They hide this information from you until after you buy it.

I got it for my son who is 12 and horrible to get out of bed. He thought it was fun and couldnt wait to use it to wake up. The next morning I go into his room, still in bed. He told me he just turned the ringer down. That defeats the annoyance of the app. So unless the alarm is not effected by to controls it wont work. Get that fixed and I give it 5 stars.
